"Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and actions."

It is the mist of difficulty, storm and turbulent water that a leader is made and the metal is tested. Leaders are made with hard work, dedication, will-power, and swimming against the current of hardships….united, hand-in- hand, with the great collection of views, vibrant personalities each with a different color enhancing the beauty of the canvas. These are the value engrained in us since the very start by our sisters, teachers and we owe a great dear to our alma mater, St Joseph’s Convent Sen. Sec. School, Bathinda and we can never return all that this institution has embodied in us, but we promise to take this school to greater heights by growing and helping each other grow with firm belief in ourselves as well as others. Through faith, trust and honesty we promise to outstretch our hand to help each other through all odds. We vow not to point out each other’s flaws rather complete each other. We as a team of twenty-six leaders, each with a unique personality promise to lead, serve and carry the legacy with a sense of responsibility, team work and most importantly faith in the ultimate force. Together, We will rise!

"“If your actions inspire others to dream more, do more and become more, you are a leader”"

Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work, and that are the teachings our alma mater, St Joseph’s Convent Sen Sec School, Bathinda, has been providing to achieve the goal. We the House Council Members feel blessed to be considered worthy of the responsibilities entrusted to us. We promise to render our honest services to the school. A leader has courage, an insight, a charisma, confidence, discipline and dedication. We would like to thank our worthy Principal Sr. Helen D’ Costa, Vice Principal Sr. Lyra and all the staff members for reposing their confidence in us. Last but certainly not the least, I would like to say in the words of Warren Bennis, “Leadership is the capacity to translate, vision into reality.” So we, the proud members of the School Cabinet, promise to work as a team and focus on our school vision and goal.

"“Leadership is about taking responsibility not making excuses”"

This is what our alma mater St Joseph’s Convent Sen Sec School, Bathinda has imbibed in us. In order to dig the layers for optional discipline and talent, one has to unravel the need to put one’s heart and soul into one’s duties and responsibilities. “Do not fear shadows, they simply mean that, Light is shining nearby”. We are a cabinet of twenty two hard working and devoted leaders who will work day in and day out to take our school to greatest heights. The biggest challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant. We on behalf of the entire cabinet promise to overcome this challenge, do justice to our assigned duties and bring laurels to our institution. At last we would like to quote, “The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you finally achieve it”. So, to achieve anything, be a true and responsible Josephite!

To perform better and become the very best depends on the education imparted to us by our bona fide institution St Joseph’s Convent Sen Sec School,Bathinda. It is evident that duties and responsibilities do not end with the election of leaders, but make a new beginning.
